Quote 2 Empty Explanation

Post  Alonsow Sat Sep 08, 2012 3:46 pm

What are demands ?
Every person who is living in the world has some desires. These desires increase and change along with age and time. These are never ending desires and they always grow. This growth of desires is called demand.
For example :- A person has a desire to have his own house, he builds a house, then he has a desire to make bigger house and he makes that bigger, then his desire grows and now he wants to make more bigger house and so on. These demands are keep on increasing and ultimately, a person dies and leave whatever he created in the world. From this example, it is also concluded that these demands keep the person busy with worldly life.
.................................................................................................................
Relation of demands with your will :-
To understand the relation of demands with your will, you need to know what is will? Will is the work you do happily and enjoy it.You do it because you like to do it.Neither someone compels you to do it nor do you consider it your compulsory or responsibility. You just do it because you like to do it.You are interested in it. For example :- you like to play games, you like to use internet etc.
Demands are always related to your will.Like if you play a game, you have a desire to play another game, then you come to hear about more games and get a desire to play them and so on.In this way, you keep on playing games to fulfill your desires but in fact, you never get to fulfill them.
.................................................................................................................
If demands are always there, then what should we do?
It is true that demands are always there but you can make your demands useful and beneficial. If you start to offer prayers which are for Allah's sake with happiness and enjoy them(with your will). You start to like offering prayer neither considering them your obligation nor someone compels you to offer them.In other words, if you offer prayers with your will then you will have demands in this act as well. You will have a demand to offer prayer more slowly and recite Holy Quran after every prayer. Your prayers will be long and your prostration won't be of seconds. This kind of prayer has also demands but these demands are beneficial because they're for Allah's sake.
.................................................................................................................
How to control our worldly demands?
World has some works that are neccesary to do in order to stay alive like doing a job, earning money, making a house, feeding your family etc. These tasks are necessary to live a good life. Allah says :- Enter in Deen (Islam) with your heart and soul, externally and internally, superficially and deeply. It doesn't mean that leave everything aside and start praying all the day, leaving the things that are necessary like earning money etc.It means that the reason behind your all the actions should be "Allah". If you are getting knowledge then why? because Allah wants you to get that. if you are earning money to feed your family then why? Because Allah wants you to earn money to feed your family. If you are serving your parents then why? because Allah likes those who serve their parents. If you just say that you're getting knowledge because it is important then remember, there is no difference in your this saying and the saying of non-muslim.And it also reveals that you're busy with worldly life having a goal to gain that is only beneficial in world. If Allah isn't the reason behind every action then you're being deceived by this world of deceptions. And if Allah is the reason behind every action then your demands are controlled and when they increase, you become more righteous.
.................................................................................................................
When you keep on trying to fulfilling your worldly demands :-
Surely those who try to fulfill all their desires in the world make their world beautiful just like paradise but their hereafter becomes worse.
While those who are patient and control their desires considering this life of world a test and do not complain and keep on showing tolerance are the righteous ones.As our beloved Holy Prophet (SAW) said :-
"This life is a prison for faithful but a paradise for Disbeliever"
What quran says about those who fulfill their desires in the world and make their world beautiful ?
Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allah are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account. (Al-Baqarah 2:212)

And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids his own soul from its whims and caprices then surely Paradise is the abode. (79:40 & 41)
Those who are trying to make this world a paradise are those who are busy with worldly life. They have worldly demands they want to overcome. But in fact, they will never be successful in fulfilling their desires neither will they be satisfied. They will keep on desiring till they're alive. So my friends, Allah is the Creator and you will all return to Him, You are sent here only to test you, As Quran says :-
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. (Al-Baqarah 2:155)
Don't lose in this test by keep on desiring and desiring. If you be patient now, you will have every desire of you granted in the paradise.

Hope you all understand this. If you have a question, sure ask.

Quote 2 Empty "Your demands are there as long as you live"

Post  Therealmrlegendary Sat Sep 08, 2012 7:33 pm

The quote, specifies as long as we keep our demands up and not give up and turn down, we will achieve them, unless we die. but ofcourse, theres more to it than that, lets find out.

keeping the demands and not giving up.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

everyone hears the saying 'never give up', and its 100% true. giving up is one of the worst things a person can do. especially giving up on people and giving up on Allah, or giving up deeds related to serving Allah. example: Fasting ramadan can be hard for a certain person, so they give up and break the fasting. thats wrong, and haram. another example: a person having an upset friend, he gives up on them and doesn't make them feel better, its not right, friends are supposibly to be forever.. giving up always comes with no good. even if a situation seems hopeless, just keep your heart in belief of Allah, and Allah will bring you Victory.

times of when Muslims had demands.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________

in the century of Muhammed, Peace be upon him, Muslims were treated like animals, and always tortured, mocked, slaughtered, but even so they didn't back out, until they got worried about the women and children, then they were forced to leave Makkah, and go to Madina, but the Muslims didn't give up, and didn't leave Makkah to the kofar, and fought them out of it and reclaimed it for Islam. they fought with their lives, to get what they demanded, instead of backing out and losing.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

At the current time in some countries, you're not allowed to demand for anything, you could get killed for that, we all saw and heard about what happen in Egypt, Libya, and Syria, they asked for their rights as citizens, and they get faced with guns and weapons, they did not give up their demands, and fought for it. the Libian Reveloution Succeeded, All thanks to Allah, and Allah never forgets his servants. in Syria they are facing the army, seems hopeless, but they dont give up, and keeping the demands, until they are dead. thats what people are supposed to be like, never back out from taking your rights, you wont be called rude, nor one who is never satisfied, its your right, dont let it go.

Even if you die, and not get your rights, remember that Life is merely a test, what important is the afterlife, if you kept your heart to Allah, you're the real winner, in the afterlife.

Have a nice day.

Quote 2 Empty Re: Quote 2

The quote is very simple to understand. Within this world there are demands for which man is ready to go through every thick and thin to achieve and in the process he might lose himself. Demands like money, cars or any entity that provides worldly pleasure is dangerous for a man’s fickle mind and his soul. We should realize that as this world is an illusion these jubilant things can be made use of for only the specific time in the world. Man pursues these short goodies of life like a moth running towards a lamp. When the lamp dies, its complete darkness. Just like that we can be pleased for a time not forever. Life is just too short to be wasted on such non-beneficial demands. Instead we should revise on our actions and start preparing for the here after which will be forever the most deciding time for us. Of what we achieved in this world will be of no use to us. Of what we gained or not will not be taken into account, instead it will be our deeds that will counted

Desires:
A mans desires are powerful. It can force him to do even the most mischievous things. There have been reports of people changing their religion for their petty demands like alcohol, sex etc. So it can convince you of changing horses and join the cause of the shaitan. The system of the world itself is very contradictory even in Muslim countries. People are now so busy that they keep away from Islam on regular basis. They have their minds set to their work and forget Islam and take it as a burden. Such demands if seen logically seem not to be so bad, but spiritually they are wrong, instead we seem to remember Allah mostly when we are in grave trouble, when we need luck, when every human is powerless to help us and when we are alone with our problems, but such short bursts of belief deserve a similar short help from Allah. But Allah, The merciful and beneficent, helps and gives us more, which is why bad times do not last forever and we are given a balance in this world. Still we do not notice, our eyes and minds only analyze the world that is why we fail to follow Islam. To have demands is normal for every human being as the Quran says:
Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return. (3:14)

Therefore it is binding on us to control our desires, as this is also a test and keep in mind the gifts of jannah that will be better than what we can ever attain in the world today:
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah . And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants – (3:15)

Allah’s omniscience and omnipotence is unmatchable. Considering this he has the best awards for us if we continue to neglect the evil desires of this world

Quote 2 Empty Re: Quote 2

Its normal for every single person to have dreams, wishes and goals in this life. They work hard on achevieing them and making their dreams come true, and even if at the end their dreams come true they still aren’t satisfaied by that and want to achieve more and more. But many of those people’s intention is to simply become happy or other reasons, but they are wrong. The inention with which they should try and fulfill their dreams is only for Allah. And also all their actions should be so to make Allah pleased by that person.

In many quotes that you might have read or heard it is said that in order for you to be happy and for your life to be meaningful you have to have a goal in life and work hard for you, and this thing should be the reason that will keep us alive and will make so for us to never give up. Which is a true thing. So the only way to gain happiness in both lives, in this life and in the hereafter, is by being muslim which is the only one and true religion. So we should work as hard as possible for the other life and also be patient because Allah always rewards those who do good deeds.
And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah of what you do, is Seeing. (Al-Baqarah 2:110)

By fulfilling our dreams (i.e. having a new house, a car ettc.) we could gain some temporary happiness and would only please ourselves. And yeah, we could be happy in this world, which is temporary, but what about the other world?
Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided. (Al-Baqarah 2:86)
