Surat Fatihah

1:1 In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

1:2 [All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds -

1:3 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,


1:4 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

1:5 It is You we worship and You we ask for help.


1:6 Guide us to the straight path -


1:7 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

Verse from Surat At-Tawbah

Verse 9:1 ... This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.


Verse 9:6 ( important ) : And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.

Verse 9:11 ... But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know.

Verse 9:13 ... Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers.

Verse 9:14 and 9:15 ( Allah brings victory to us even if we die ): Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people, And remove the fury in the believers' hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

Verse 9:16 ( and this is why ): Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah , His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

Verse 9:20 and 9:21 AND 9:22 ... The ones who have believed, emigrated and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah . And it is those who are the attainers [of success], Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure, [They will be] abiding therein forever. Indeed, Allah has with Him a great reward.

Verse 9:26 ( and this is how ): Then Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers angels whom you did not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers.

Verse 9:32 ( just like dogs, they howl but not bite ): They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.

Verse 9:39 ... If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent.

Verse 9:43 ... May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars.

Verse 9:46 ( i just wish the USA see this verse ): And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it [some] preparation. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, "Remain [behind] with those who remain."

Surah Nisa. Ayat 18

Yusuf Ali
Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous.
Sahih International
But repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "Indeed, I have repented now," or of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.
Shakir
And repentance is not for those who go on doing evil deeds, until when death comes to one of them, he says: Surely now I repent; nor (for) those who die while they are unbelievers. These are they for whom We have prepared a painful chastisement.
Pickthall
The forgiveness is not for those who do ill-deeds until, when death attendeth upon one of them, he saith: Lo! I repent now; nor yet for those who die while they are disbelievers. For such We have prepared a painful doom.

The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely -

[Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups - that it would be yours - and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers

And Allah made it not but good tidings and so that your hearts would be assured thereby. And victory is not but from Allah . Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.

And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.

Sahih International
But if they turn away - then know that Allah is your protector. Excellent is the protector, and Excellent is the helper.

And know that anything you obtain of war booty - then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah , over all things, is competent.

And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah . And Allah is severe in penalty."

And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah . Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are from you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah . And Allah is with the steadfast.

O Prophet, say to whoever is in your hands of the captives, "If Allah knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

But if they intend to betray you - then they have already betrayed Allah before, and He empowered [you] over them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption.

But those who have believed and emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - it is they who are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.

Sahih International
And those who believed after [the initial emigration] and emigrated and fought with you - they are of you. But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.

Beautiful Verses of Surah Bayyinah ... The 1st Ayah is considered to be the most difficult one in context of Tafsir

1. The disbelievers from among the People of the Book and the idolaters would not desist (from disbelief) until clear proof came to them.
2. That (proof) is the (last) Messenger from Allah, who recites (to them) holy pages (of the Glorious Qur’an),
3. In which are (written) correct and firm Commandments.
4. These People of the Book did not dissent among themselves (with regard to believing in the Prophethood and Messengership of the last Messenger [Allah bless him and give him peace] and recognizing his holy status), until after the clear proof had come to them (of the Prophethood of Muhammad [Allah bless him and give him peace]. Then, they broke up: some of them accepted belief in him while others became deniers and disbelievers out of jealousy,)
5. Whereas they were commanded to worship only Allah, making their Din (faith and devotion) sincerely His (dissociating from every falsehood), to establish Prayer and to pay Zakat (the Alms-due) regularly. And this is the straight and firm Din (Religion).
6. Indeed those who disbelieve from among the People of the Book and the polytheists (all) will be (abiding) in the Fire of Hell. They are its permanent dwellers. It is they who are the worst of the Creation.
7. Indeed those who believe and keep doing pious actions, it is they who are the best of the Creation.
8. Their reward is the Gardens of eternal living in the Presence of their Lord, with streams flowing under them. They shall live in them forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This (status) is meant for the one who fears his Lord.

As it is much small we should try to learn such small surahs which are indeed amazing

Allah speaks of animals which are haram and concludes Islam as the perfect religion:
“Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

Allah speaks of the obligations of wuzu:
“O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.”

Allah speaks of the messenger prophet Muhammad (p-b-u-h)
“O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book.”

Allah guides them who He wills:
“By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.”

Allah talks of the Christians:
“They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.”

The false declaration of the Jews and Christians:
“But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.”

Allah speaks of the prophet Muhammad (p-b-u-h) so humanity should not complain about not sending a messenger to warn and guide them:
“O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.”

The wrong doers will be punished, no matter how much powerful they are:
“Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment”
